-a- Defeated Ultimo Dragon in the finals of the tournament to crown the first J-Crown Champion.

-b- Loses the WAR Internation Junior Heavyweight Title to Yuuji Yasuraoka on June 6, 1997, but continues to defend the other seven as the J-Crown.

-c- Forced by the WWF to vacate the WWF Light Heavyweight Title on November 5, 1997 for a tournament in the US; Vacated all other belts except for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. J-Crown title abandoned.
