-b- Vacated in November 1959 when Eddie retires.

-c- Defeated Don Curtis and Mark Lewin for the vacant belts.

-d- Eddie Graham returns to the ring and takes Valentine's half of the title.

-e- Defeated Valentine and Chief Big Heart after Rogers walks away from his half of the title.

-f- The WWWF withdraws from the NWA in April in 1964 and the titles are renamed the WWWF United States Tag Team Championship.

-g- Awarded by Valentine after his partner, Pugliese, is injured in the title win.

-h- Pugliese leaves the WWWF and Skaaland is given his half of the title.

-i- Titles are retired by the end of 1967.
